In 1931, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of North Carolina (NSCDA-NC) compiled over 100 glass slides that detailed the history of North Carolina as part of their mission of education, preservation and patriotism. Once presented the slides were stored in a closet and lost to time.

Recently discovered by staff, Burgwin-Wright House assistant museum director, Hunter Ingram will take you through the slides of the Wilmington area and beyond for a glimpse at a history lesson first created nearly a century ago.
