About the Artist
Since Lengyeltoti was a child molding nudes from clay that got him into trouble with his grandparents, and throughout a career in finance and marketing, he has always maintained a connection with his art that has developed as an artistic expression sensitive to social change. “As an artist I always strive to achieve simplicity and humor in my work through the use of bright colors, texture and abstractions that play with space and time. It’s fun and whimsical,” he says because he wants his works to be uplifting for the viewer. The UK-born artist formally began his career studying art at the Ontario College of Art and Design, and since graduating has exhibited throughout the UK, Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
