The Burgwin-Wright House is pleased to welcome local artist Jeanne McIntosh Rietzke for her colorful show “Kaleidoscopic Eyes: A Collection of Art by Jeanne McIntosh Rietzke” featuring some of her most recent work from 2022-2025!

The Opening reception, in conjunction with Fourth Friday Gallery Nights, is on Friday, March 28 from 6-9PM.

Her artwork will be on display and for sale in our art gallery through April 19. Admission is free. The gallery is open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm.

Reflections, patterns, and color catch my eye in everything I see. I enjoy using those visions to create patterns, enhance reflections, and change the colors of my subject matter to reflect my unique perspectives. The title of this show is a nod to my Scottish heritage as my work takes you on a journey of possibilities and helps you see the world differently, much like a Kaleidoscope invented by Scottish scientist, David Brewster, a descendant, like me, of one of the original Mayflower Pilgrims, William Brewster.
