About the artist
A self-taught painter, Walus has been painting since 1970 varying and ranging from non-objective, abstract, representational to metaphysical subjects. By starting with a blank canvas or paper, Walus allows the colors he applies to determine the subject matter. Walus admires the artistic values of Rene Magritte, Joan Miro, Andre Breton, and more.

Walus received his teaching degree as well as his Masters of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. He has a background in machining, steel fabrication, optics and quality control.  His paintings can be found in private collections in South Carolina, New Your State, Connecticut, Colorado, Hawaii and the United Kingdom.
